

They were not one super popular, but in order for their quirk to work, they had to touch her and the moment they did, they dropped dead. That's why she turned to the life of crime, it was nothing serious, just robbing some stores, people who had too much money for their own good, petty crimes, but it escalated quickly when a hero showed up once. Once people found out about her quirk, sooner or later they would run for the hills. So she finished a regular highschool instead but while looking for a job, she wasn't having any luck and most jobs she managed to get didn't pay well and wouldn't last long. The smaller, less advanced schools where afraid they couldn't handle someone with a quirk like hers, but she wasn't good enough to even try out for more prestigious schools. Despite all of that she tried to get into many different hero schools after middle school, but none would take her. She was constantly told that she could never be a hero with a quirk like hers and that she would inevitably become a villain. She felt like an outcast, a monster and she was remained of this every day, by the people she used to call friends. She was forced to learn to take care of herself at a young age because her mother wouldn't even look at her anymore. This sent her family and everyone around them in to a panic, how could it be, a child with such a terrible quirk? People started avoiding Shiori, her classmates, teachers and even her own parents where afraid to come close to her. At first the girl just thought her friend had passed out, like all the other people before that, but it was soon discovered the girl was Infact dead. At age 12, when, while playing with her friends, one of them touched her and died.

At first if she made skin to skin contact it would make people pass out for up to an hour, which was annoying, but the real chaos started when it developed further. She had a mostly happy and normal childhood until her quirk developed. She ha always wanted to want to become a hero and save people and both her parents fully supported that. Her mother was a stay at home mom while her father ran a company. Shiori grew up in a loving house hold with both her parents. It can be used to cause harm, but it cannot protect or save others.❞ She was diagnosed early on in her childhood and she used to take medication for it, though in the last years she hasn't been taking her medication because she felt that it had no effect either way and she never bothered to go to a doctor to request different medication. She's taking medication to make the symptoms less severe, but the still affect her daily life. She's loyal to the people who have proved to her that she can trust them and she can easily tell when someone's lying to her. She's sweet and caring, but she never expresses those parts of herself, afraid of judgment from others. She's actually quiet sensitive and insecure at times, she's just good at hiding it. She comes off as cold hearted, someone who dosen't care about anything or anyone, but in reality she just keeps all her emotions buried deep inside, in fear of coming off as weak if she dared to show them. She works many different jobs and since she can't seem to keep a job for longer than a week she dose rob smaller stores and people for money. However she cannot control her quirk at all so she's always hated it and wished she didn't have it. Also, if she touches something with the intent to hurt people, if someone touches that object within 5 minutes of her touching it, they will also drop dead. "touch of death", if she makes skin to skin contact with someone, that person will drop dead within seconds. Japanese it's her first language and she speaks it fluently. She chose it because it means misery in Japanese and she's felt miserable her whole life so she want's for the whole world to feel the same. It's merely a component of the process of life.❞
